(Excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong place. I'm having one of those days.)
The Nordensk expansion has undeniably been a big thorn in the side of the relations between Tuatha Aontaithe and Krlska. With this thread, I'd like to open official and ongoing discussions on how to satisfy both parts.
Please state your demands regarding the expansion - what could we do to assure you that this expansion has no hostile intention?

Welcome Teachtaire
Basically all we ask for is a treaty of peace and mutual understanding between our nations and a writ guaranteeing that this claim will be a demilitarised zone and no military presence will be nurtured there.
P.S you're the first person to post something internationally in the right place ;D

I am quite sure that both I and King Zhukov can agree to that.
Here's a short breakdown of my suggestions for the agreement:
One single treaty, regarding both basic Mutual Recognition and Non-Aggression. A clear statement of what both Krlska and Tuatha Aontaithe may and may not do in the waters surrounding the region (which we should probably give some kind of name, for ease of discussion). Potential establishment of government-paid air- and ferrylines between ports of our nations. Circumstansial rules in the case of hostile intrusion (towards any of our nations) inside the bay/sea.

There's no need to start building borders as to where and where not vessels can go in this little enclave. I don't mind at all for commercial vessels to fish anywhere here or have a ferry service, I just want it guaranteed that there won't be nuclear subs and gunships lurking around in these waters.

I can personally guarantee (speaking for myself and the King) that no military vehicles will be utilized in these waters. However, I think that it is best if we sign a genuine treaty, for the safety of us both. As much as it generates trust to simply give a verbal guarantee, it is no permanent assurance.

Alright, here is a first draft of a treaty: img70.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nordensklinefh7.jpg(Neutrality Line shown in purple) Nordensk Bay treaty(Nordensk Bay will be a temporary name for the bay of conflict, until both parts have agreed on a name.) With the signing of this treaty the Kingdom of Krlska/Cerulea (henceforth Krlska) and Tuatha Aontaithe agree and accept that: Section 1: Traversing the Nordensk BayNO Krlskii military vessel may cross the Neutrality Line unless authorized by the state of Tuatha Aontaithe. ALL Krlskii and Tuatha Aontaithe military vessels approaching 30km of the Neutrality Line (the Dead Zone) must be supervised by elements of the opposite part's navy until the vessels are outside the Dead Zone, unless authorized otherwise. Section 2: Build-Up of Nordensk BayBOTH Krlska and Tuatha Aontaithe will divert government funds towards the establishment of transport between Nordensk and the towns along the Tuatha Aontaithe coastline. Section 3: Non-AggressionNO Krlskii or Tuatha Aontaithe military vessel may approach 75km of the opposite part's coastline, unless authorized. If this happens, a warning must be given by the violated part. If this warning is unheeded by the violating part, the violated part may engage in hostilities with no repercussions. BOTH Krlska and Tuatha Aontaithe may engage in hostilities with any troops which cross their borders unauthorized. In addition, we suggest that (to further trust) our nations will engage in some kind of joint project - perhaps a fundraising programme for citizens living in Third World-like conditions in other nations, or a cooperative military excersice.

sounds fantastic, I'm all in for this. My whole spiel on the MCS was very defensive but I think it's clear for all to see here now that the intentions of Krlska are that of a pure one.
I'm ready to sign but for any objections of my comrades, anybody have anything to say?

Sorry about this I'm in a state of semi micronationalist sabbatical. I'll get in touch soon, Ó Dearbháin, as you seem to be emerging as my right hand man and a grand architect of the nation, if I don't do this before you feel free to sort this out yourself (if you have the free time, that is).
